About Our Blog

Enabling Technologies Corp. is a global IT consulting practice specializing in Microsoft Exchange messaging architecture. Our staff is comprised of seasoned, certified IT professionals who work with these technologies on a daily basis and are capable of recommending and implementing the “right solution” for our clients.

While most firms specialize in either data or voice technology, we’re different: our technical staff is on the cutting edge of both data and voice. Every member of our technical team is certified to install and troubleshoot the applications that we sell and support.  The single most important differentiator between Enabling Technologies and other Microsoft Gold partners specializing in Unified Communications is our Telephony experience.  We have experience integrating to all types of Telephony platforms ( Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Siemens, Shoretel and Altigen).

We launched our Enabling Technologies Blog to share information about Unified Communications and enterprise messaging with our customers, prospects and other interested individuals.

Our blog authors comprise just a cross-section of our knowledgeable experts. On a regular basis, our experts will discuss a variety of topics in their areas of expertise.

Bill Vollerthum

Bill Vollerthum is President and Founder of Enabling Technologies Corp, founded in 1992. Bill’s guiding vision for specialization in electronic e-mail retention/compliance, voicemail, faxing and speech applications has enabled organizations to take full advantage of their investments in messaging technology while adhering to ever changing regulatory compliance statutes.

Bill is known outside of the company for his devotion and hard charging attitude in building a company that refuses to be a “one size fits all” general consulting practice. Bill chose to take a page from the legal and medical industry and create a practice that would be sought out by organizations as the global leader in a specific technical competency. One of the key underpinnings for the company’s success has been staying focused on their core competency in messaging, enabling them to deliver meet the needs of their clients in the areas of unified/ mobility communications, e-mail compliance and electronic discovery.
