Cloud Security Services: Best in Breed versus Microsoft

Defense in depth no longer means managing several different security vendors. Microsoft spends approximately $1B USD researching and developing security solutions. Innovations come quickly. For instance, Microsoft announced the ability for an IT security pro to launch phishing simulations and password spray attacks to see which users fall for fishing or have weak passwords.

Many Enabling Tech clients are replacing third-party security products with Microsoft’s. First-party services are more deeply embedded than those using Office 365’s APIs, providing more secure solutions.  Customers betting on Microsoft Office 365 or Azure are saving money and are as secure or more secure.

The table below illustrates where Microsoft’s security innovations overlap with 3rd party Solutions.  It shows the categories in which Microsoft competes and which third-party (3P) solutions we’re replacing with native Microsoft cloud services.
